This 3-hour walking tour starting from Potsdamer Platz weaves through Berlin’s history by visiting landmarks such as the impressive Brandenburg Gate, the notorious Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie and the beautiful Humboldt Forum. You will visit Unter den Linden and see Museums island.
Along the way your guide will tell you stories from Berlin’s history that will bring the city alive. Hear anecdotes about a city that has seen kings and emperors, and housed fascists and witnessed the devastation of war. Learn how the city was split in 2 before being pieced back together again.
Stroll through the center and see sights from different eras, be it the beautiful Brandenburg Gate from the 18th-Century, the Reichstag from the 19th-century, the area of Hitler’s bunker from Word War 2, parts of the Berlin Wall from the time of the division, or modern Berlin at Potsdamer Platz.
You will be traveling in a small group, with dedicated guides who will share their passion and give you a more personal service to help you appreciate what makes Berlin so special.

We recommend that you buy a public transport ticket for the AB zones for the day in order to get to the meeting point and continue your journey. We do not end the tour at the meeting point and Berlin is a huge city. The tour is designed to be done on foot, but due to difficult weather conditions we may take the metro during the tour.
