During the 2-hours tour, you will cycle from the city center to the busy harbour along one of Hamburg’s countless canals. While crossing the Hohe Brücke, you’ll enjoy an amazing view on the Haus der Seefahrt and the houses of Deichstraße street reflecting in the water. The route will follow along the North Elbe river with the most important landmarks of the Port of Hamburg from the Landungsbrücken promenade to the legendary U-434 submarine. Enjoy a breeze of fresh air and spectacular views of the river side. You will then turn towards the energetic Reeperbahn street, known for its spicy nightlife with everything from popular gay clubs to tempting sex shops.
You will stop by the gorgeous St Michaels Church and then follow through the Neustadt district towards the city center. Turn to the spectacular Neuer Wall street of luxurious shops and beautiful buildings. Admire the old architecture of the waterfront arcade Alsterarkaden with amazing views of the Old Town. You will reach the Rathausmarkt public square and cycle around the stunning building of the Town Hall. Then you will cross the historical Trostbrücke bridge and cycle to the St Nicholas Memorial. At the end of the tour, you will return to the bike rental shop to return your bike.
Choose the 4-hours option to get to see even more highlights! Instead of cycling straight towards the harbour, you will stop by the iconic Chilehouse. This UNESCO-listed architectural masterpiece in the spirit of the 1920s expressionism will amaze you with its enormous scale, accentuated vertical elements, curved facade and impressive inner courtyards. Then you will explore another UNESCO-listed treasure, the historic yet modern Speicherstadt. The guide will lead you through a complex network of canals, bridges and historic warehouses. You will also see one of the newest additions to the Hamburg’s skyline – the colossal Elbphilharmonie. Then you will follow the basic cycling route through the Hohe Brücke towards the port.
If this still isn’t enough for you, choose the 6-hours option to explore more of Hamburg’s urban nature. This route includes cycling by the Chilehouse and through the “”City of Warehouses” – Speicherstadt, extended by the HafenCity. You will also cycle along the North Ebe river extended by the Fish Market and the relaxing Altona Balcony park. You will see the famous Reeperbahn street as well as St Michaels, and then follow the peaceful Gorch-Fock-Wall street along the green park areas. In Dammtor Park, you will cycle by the Planten un Blomen, the old botanical garden and the Wallgraben lake. You will then go around the artificial Inner Alster Lake and follow the Old Town route passing by the Alsterkarden and Town Hall to St Nicholas Memorial. This tour combines the best of sightseeing and recreation!

We recommend arriving at the meeting point early, as you will need time to set up your bike. We will rent adult city bikes for your group. Children's bikes, child seats, helmets and other equipment are available on request. When making a booking, please indicate how many children are in your group and their ages and whether we should prepare any additional equipment for you. Entrance tickets to attractions are not included in this tour.
