This exclusive car tour is the most convenient way to explore Frankfurt as you can see so much more than on a regular walking tour, but without tired feet. Sit down and relax as your Private Driver and Guide show you the highlights and hidden gems of the Old Town and beyond. Let us take you on an adventure!
Book a 3-hour tour with transfers to see the best of Frankfurt’s Old Town. We will pick you up directly from your accommodation and drive along the Main Kai and the Museum Embankment, passing the Historisches Museum, Eiserner Steg (Iron Footbridge), and the Imperial Cathedral. Your passionate Local Guide will introduce you to Frankfurt’s turbulent history as you follow the historic Royal Route in the footsteps of German kings and electors, admiring the recently reconstructed, unique timber houses in the New Old Town that were completely destroyed during WWII. You will experience the medieval atmosphere of the Römerberg square with its iconic Gothic-style old city hall Römer, the Fountain of Justice and the Old St Nicholas Church. You will also see St Paul’s Church and the Unity Monument dedicated to the birth of German democracy, and the house where Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was born. Other points of interest include the Old Opera House, the modern skyscrapers of Frankfurt, and the Eschenheimer Tower, part of the late-medieval fortifications.
Book a 6-hour tour to visit Frankfurt’s top-rated attractions: the Imperial Cathedral and the observation deck of the Main Tower. We book tickets to the Main Tower in advance to save you time, so you won’t waste time buying them on spot. This modern skyscraper is the highest vantage point in Frankfurt, so it offers the best views of the city. During the extended Old Town tour, you will also visit the Imperial Cathedral of Frankfurt, which is steeped in history and holds national treasures. Another highlight will be the Deutsche Bank Park, home to the famous football stadium Waldstadion.

"Please check your email the day before the tour for important information. Please note that only the 7-hour tour includes entry to Frankfurt Cathedral and Main Tower. Church tours during mass and special events (such as scheduled concerts) are limited, therefore the guide may provide all information outside. Admission is for the free parts of the Imperial Cathedral only, not for the tower. Skip-the-line tickets to the Main Tower observation deck allow you to get in faster without queuing at the cash desk, but there is no separate entrance to avoid crowds. There are mandatory security checks. For your convenience, we will limit the group size to 25 guests per guide, so that everyone can get personal attention, ask questions and hear commentary clearly. The price will be higher if you need more than 1 guide. We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a larger van for groups of 5 people and more.
