About this tour

Explore the German Romantic Road daily by minibus. Departure in Frankfurt am Main/Main Train Station, Mannheimer Straße 2-4. Drive through the Spessart to Wertheim and time for a walk in the medieval city center. Along the Romantic Road to Weikersheim. Short tour in the Castle with it`s magnificent Knight`s Hall and the Baroque Garden (closed on Mondays). Rothenburg ob der Tauber is the most romantic town in Germany and one of the highlights of the Romantic Road. There are 3 hours to discover the medieval jewel with its town wall, the German Christmas Museum and Käthe Wohlfarth´s Christmas Store, the Crime and Torture Museum and St. Jacob`s with an altar carved by Tilman Riemenschneider. On the way back to Frankfurt foto stop in Würzburg at the Residence, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
