Travel through the serene landscapes of Achnasheen, where rolling hills and tranquil glens create a perfect prelude to the dramatic beauty of Loch Carron. Pause to take in the shimmering waters and lush surroundings before continuing your adventure.
Once on the Isle of Skye, venture north to explore the world-famous highlights of the island. Witness the Cuillin Mountains, a striking range that offers jaw-dropping vistas. Drive across the Trotternish Peninsula, featuring landmarks like the towering Old Man of Storr, the basalt cliffs of Kilt Rock, and the surreal landscapes of The Quiraing, with its unique rock formations and sweeping coastal views.
Stop for a break in the picturesque town of Portree and enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a variety of cozy cafes, traditional pubs, and unique local shops to enjoy.
In late afternoon, stop for photographs on the shores across from Eilean Donan Castle, one of the most beautiful castles in Scotland. Backdrop to many famous films, such as Highlander and Made of Honor, this castle is another must-see iconic landmark.
The journey back to Inverness takes you through the stunning landscapes of Glen Shiel, where dramatic mountain ranges and rugged beauty make for a mesmerizing drive.

CHECK-IN IS AT 7:30 AM, BUS DEPARTS AT 7:30 AM SHARP. We meet on Ardross Street, close to the main entrance to Inverness Cathedral. If arriving to the departure point by taxi or local bus please ensure that you leave enough time to account for potential delays on the route.

You will join a group for the second day of our longer 3-day tour from Edinburgh. We do not allow children under the age of 7. We do not allow groups over 8 passengers, and ask that group bookings are made as a private tour. Buses do not have toilets on board. Check-In starts at 7:15am, bus departs at 7:30am sharp. Please note that we do not allocate seats, and that they are chosen when boarding. The Scottish Highlands have plenty of winding roads as well as breathtaking views! We do not reserve seats, but will try to make all passengers comfortable. If you suffer from motion sickness, we advise that you take preventative measures. Inverness return is at approximately 7:30pm. Return times are approximate and may be impacted by road conditions and weather. Please allow at least 2 hours for any onward travel or reservations in the evening.
