A unique experience by an Historic Mountain Railway through the Alps, beyond canyons, viaducts and tunnels discovering new treasures, unknown by most of the French Riviera’s visitors. Come through surprising Alps’ hidden gems & be amazed by landscapes & our most picturesque medieval villages.
We will visit 2 villages during the day: 1st village is classified with the label: “One of the nicest village of France” with a great medieval architecture, a beautiful Baroque Cathedral, fortifications & draw-bridge. Possible Option: 1/2 hour walk uphill (200 meters uphill, good physical conditions required) until a unique perched Castle with the most spectacular panoramas.
The 2nd village is amazing: troglodyte houses, a very nice maze of tiny streets built on a sandstone block & optionally (sporty) the most beautiful hiking you could imagine through a Mystic Forest (centuries old chestnuts trees), a mysterious cave & sandstone blocks.
