Start at the large open square of Marienplatz, dominated by the Old and New Town Hall. Stroll through the inner city and see sites such as the Frauenkirche and the former royal palaces of the Munich Residenz.

Along the way you will learn about the city’s colorful 850-year history, stopping at sites that have witnessed events of not just local, but worldwide interest. See some of its famous beer halls and move on to its green attraction, the massive English Garden.
